Family Council - FREE

A functional resource to help your family effectively plan out each week. Remember to teach one of my favorite phrases, "It's a plan, not a promise." We can always be flexible.
Each section can be individualized to create an intentional week, where every family member can contribute in the home and experience personal progression.
Goals: Give attention to various areas of development; identify simple things to work on that week. Ex: yoga or pray daily, 10 push-ups daily, invite a friend over, read a book.
Menu: Make a plan for dinner throughout the week. Family members can also contribute ideas and help prepare.
Zones: Divide your home into 4 areas where children can "contribute" by keeping it clean. Ex: Kitchen, floors, bathroom, family room/dust. One individual has the same zone for the entire week, then it switches the following week.
Family Fact: State your last name first with the value/principle you would like to focus on that week. Ex: Nelson's are first-time listeners.
Serve: List of people you could serve that week. Ex: Grandparent, relative, neighbor, friend.
Family Needs: List items people need. Ex: Hair cut, socks, etc.
Weekly Schedule: List lessons or plans for upcoming week.
*Remember to end with a Stoke Circle! Everyone takes a turn to share something positive about the person to their right.
This resource is meant to be a guide, not an absolute. Use what works well for your family. We typically gather as a family on Sunday evenings to plan our week.
